I am passionate about bringing families together- helping parents understand their children and guiding children toward deeper self-awareness. Counselling for me is not just about talking; it is about reconnecting with the body, breaking generational patterns, and embracing healing in a holistic way.

I offer in-person sessions in Oxfordshire, including Oxford (Botley) and Witney, with availability Monday to Friday from normally between 2鈥6 PM. For those who prefer online sessions, I also offer limited morning slots. Whether in person or online, my goal is to create a supportive space that fits your needs and schedule.

About me and my therapy practice

Heart-centered counselling for children, teens & parents.

As an integrative, trauma-focused counsellor, I believe that healing happens when we reconnect with ourselves鈥攅motionally, physically, and energetically.

My work supports children, teenagers, and adults in understanding their feelings, processing stuck emotions, and breaking free from unhealthy thought and behaviour patterns.

Many of my clients grown up in high-pressure environments (military, medical, academic families) and struggle with depression, anxiety, self-harm, lack of belonging, low self-esteem, issues with self-worth and boundaries, people-pleasing, relational trauma, perfectionism, anger, self-abandonment.

I specialise in attachment work, inner child healing, and relational trauma, offering individual therapy, joint parent-child sessions, and parental consultations. My goal is to provide a supportive space where collaboratively with the client we work through family wounds and difficult parent-child dynamics, make sense of their physical and emotional pain and find a path to ease and emotional safety. We also focus on developing self-compassion so they can feel more at home in themselves and their body.

My approach blends integrative and humanistic approaches with inner child work, parts work, art &play therapy, awareness of systemic work, psycho-education as well as mindfulness, breath and energy work. My work is rooted in the mind-body connection and it is not about fixing you because you are not broken but guiding you towards greater self-awareness, empowerment, and emotional mastery.

My first session

Our 30-minute initial consultation session is a chance to explore whether counselling feels like the right fit. The structure will depend on whether the session is for a child, parent, or adult.

For children's sessions, the parent will join for the first half so we can discuss their goals for their child's therapy, their child's developmental history including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, early social interactions, family background and relationships within the family, diagnoses, previous experience of counselling. We will also explore the current challenges, when they began, and how the child has coped with them. In the second half, I will spend one-on-one time with your child, giving them space to connect with me and explore their desired outcome and presenting issues.

For individual sessions with adults or parents, we will use the time to talk about your expectations of counselling, we would take a 'potted' life history to reflect on any significant life events in your life and your family's life that might have impacted on you, and any challenges you would like to work through.

After the session, you can take time to decide if and when you would like to begin counselling. If you choose to proceed, we will agree on a start date, and I will follow up with parental consent forms and agreements.
