About me and my therapy practice
Hello, My name is Molly, and I understand that life can sometimes feel like a whirlwind of emotions, leaving us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. We all have moments when we need a little extra support to help us find our footing again. I’m here to provide that safe, welcoming space where you can express your feelings and gain clarity in a way that feels comfortable for you.
As a qualified Counsellor with a Foundation Degree in Transactional Analysis Counselling, accredited by the Â鶹Դ´, I’m passionate about helping you reconnect with yourself and the world around you. Transactional Analysis is a therapeutic approach that examines how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our past experiences and relationships. My approach is warm and non-judgmental, ensuring you feel heard and understood as we explore what’s on your mind. Together, we’ll navigate your unique experiences and work towards fostering positive change in your life.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, allowing us to tailor our sessions to suit your individual needs—whether you’re looking for short-term support for a specific issue or a deeper exploration of long-standing challenges. My goal is to empower you to discover your own solutions and gain a clearer understanding of who you are and how you want to live.
Taking the step to seek counselling can feel daunting, but it can also be one of the most rewarding decisions you make. To help you feel comfortable, I offer a free 30-minute introductory session, either online or by phone. This is a great opportunity for us to chat about your needs and see if we’re a good fit. I look forward to the possibility of supporting you on your journey toward a happier, more fulfilled life!
Practice description
I work with individuals offering face-to-face or online counselling.
I believe in the power of collaboration, and therefore tailor my approach to each client's unique needs and goals. My therapeutic style is empathic, non-judgemental, and client-centred, and I believe in building a strong therapeutic alliance where trust and open communication are at the forefront.
Sessions are offered on a long term or short term basis.
My first session
I offer a brief free brief telephone conversation to discuss your current concerns and reasonings for seeking counselling and what you hope to gain from our sessions. It will also allow you to find out how it works, to address any queries or concerns and most importantly for you to assess if you think we will work well together without any obligation.
Our initial session is charged at the usual rate.
During this session we talk about at a deeper level what is affecting you, what you hope to gain from counselling and discuss the way forward
