About me and my therapy practice
Are you seeking support to navigate life’s challenges, better understand your emotions, or break free from patterns that no longer serve you? You don’t have to face it alone.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where we can explore your experiences together—at your pace.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw from different therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to suit your unique needs. These include:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier coping strategies.
Transactional Analysis (TA) – to understand how your past influences your present and foster healthier relationships.
Mindfulness-based practices – to build self-awareness, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional regulation.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to help you move towards a values-led life, even when faced with difficult thoughts and feelings.
I work with adults experiencing a range of issues, including:
Anxiety, panic, and health anxiety
Depression and low mood
Phobias and OCD
Low self-esteem and confidence issues
Bereavement, grief, and loss
Relationship difficulties
Stress, burnout, and life transitions
Our work together will help you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, while developing practical tools to manage life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re seeking short-term support or longer-term therapy, I am here to support you.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it can also be the start of meaningful change. Let’s work together towards the life you deserve.
Contact me today to begin your journey.
Practice description
I am a qualified Person-Centered Counsellor with additional training in Transactional Analysis (TA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Coaching.
In my practice, I offer 50-minute therapy sessions in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space, where we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
My integrative approach combines various therapeutic techniques to create a holistic, tailored experience for each individual. This means that we don’t just talk about your challenges—we also focus on practical tools that empower you to make lasting change. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, phobias, or life transitions, we will work collaboratively to develop strategies that help you feel more in control and aligned with your values.
Alongside this, I offer psychoeducation on key mental health topics, helping you better understand the mind-body connection, the impact of emotions, and how thoughts influence behaviour. Together, we’ll explore emotional regulation techniques that enable you to manage overwhelming emotions and increase your emotional resilience. This empowers you to respond to life’s challenges in a more grounded, mindful way.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but my aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel understood, validated, and empowered. I will work with you at your pace, helping you gain valuable insight and offering tools that allow you to cultivate a more fulfilling and balanced life.
My first session
Your first session is all about you. It’s an opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my focus will be on making you feel comfortable, supported, and heard from the moment we begin.
During this session, I’ll ask questions to gain a full understanding of what’s bringing you to therapy. This helps me tailor our work together to your specific needs. We'll discuss your current challenges, any past experiences that may be relevant, and what you hope to achieve through our work.
It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for how we work together and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. There’s no pressure—you can take your time, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to build a solid foundation of trust so you feel empowered to start your therapeutic journey with confidence.
