About me and my therapy practice

I'm a Gestalt therapist who believes that real change comes from awareness and experience, not just talking. Therapy with me is down-to-earth, supportive, and sometimes creative—I might bring in movement, art, or practical exercises to help you explore what’s going on in a way that feels natural. We’ll focus on what’s happening for you in the moment, making sense of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns so you can find new ways forward. This is your space to be heard, understood, and explore what you need at your own pace.

Practice description

You can expect a warm, down-to-earth approach where you feel supported but also gently challenged to grow. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll be engaged, curious, and honest with you. In Gestalt therapy, we pay close attention to how your emotions and experiences show up not just in your thoughts, but in your body—through tension, movement, or sensation. By noticing these subtle signals, we can bring awareness to patterns that might be holding you back and explore new ways of responding. Above all, I bring empathy and a genuine interest in your experience, creating a space where you feel heard and valued.

My first session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a relaxed and supportive space. I know starting therapy can feel scary, especially if you’re not sure what to expect, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. Most importantly, it’s about creating a space where you feel comfortable and heard.

I’ll also introduce how I work, including my Gestalt and creative approaches, so you get a feel for the process. If it feels right, we might even try a simple creative or experiential exercise to help bring clarity to what you’re experiencing.
