About me and my therapy practice
Based in south-east London, I offer therapy for adults and young people, providing a supportive space to explore and improve emotional and mental wellbeing.
With a background in creative agencies and corporate sustainability, I have worked in fast-paced, commercial environments and developed a particular interest in how the word of work - and its complex relational dynamics - affects wellbeing. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of workplace pressures, which I integrate into my private practice, where I support clients with a range of difficulties, concerns, and transitions, including bereavement, pregnancy, and parenthood.
Beyond private practice, I have worked across various clinical settings, including the NHS, higher education, and community-based organisations. As part of the Primary Care Mental Health Team at the Maudsley Hospital, I supported patients with challenges such as depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, substance abuse, and self-harm, having also worked in multidisciplinary teams at Kings College Hospital and the Ladywell Psychiatric Unit at Lewisham Hospital.
Alongside my NHS work, I have provided specialist support to neurodivergent students through UCL's Student Counselling Service and exploratory therapy at the Albany Trust, focusing on healthy and fulfilling LGBTIQA+ relationships and sexual wellbeing.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and rooted in psychodynamic principles, integrating evidence-based research to support each client's unique needs. I prioritise creating a safe and inclusive space to explore the interplay between internal and external influences on wellbeing.
I am committed to continued professional development and completed my training in counselling and psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation and Birkbeck College, University of London.
