About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or feeling unsettled by a change you can’t quite define? Perhaps you're navigating a breakup or a stressful life transition. As a counsellor, my role is to provide a calm, non-judgmental space where you can express what’s truly on your mind. Together, we can explore the challenges you’re facing, identify patterns, and develop coping strategies that empower you to move forward with greater confidence and resilience. You don’t have to face this alone—support is here to help you create a more fulfilling and balanced life.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic, existential, and CBT approaches to provide a tailored experience that suits your individual needs. Whether you need a space for deep self-exploration, practical tools to manage distress, or insight into past experiences shaping your present, I adapt my approach to best support you. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where healing and personal growth unfold at your own pace. My goal is to help you gain deeper self-awareness, strengthen your resilience, and build a stronger connection with yourself, so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and clarity.

Practice description

I am a Â鶹ԭ´´-accredited integrative therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I hold a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills, a Level 3 Â鶹ԭ´´-accredited Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory, and a Â鶹ԭ´´-accredited Degree in Counselling Studies from the University of East London. In addition, I have completed Mental Health First Aider training and have undertaken Place2Be workshops focused on working with children and young people. My work has encompassed helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, attachment and abandonment issues, as well as loss, bereavement, and family-related dementia concerns.

I have worked with a diverse client base, including individuals of varying ages, racial and cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations, ensuring that each person feels valued and understood. My integrative approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT, and existential perspectives, allowing me to tailor sessions to meet each client’s unique needs. With a deep commitment to fostering a safe and supportive space, I aim to empower individuals to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move towards healing and self-discovery.

My first session

My approach to therapy begins with an open and compassionate conversation about what has brought you to seek support. Together, we will explore the different challenges you are facing, gently teasing out the underlying issues that may be contributing to your current experiences. Over time, we will develop our therapeutic relationship, creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. As we continue through our work together, we will focus on developing coping strategies and enhancing your resilience to difficult situations. My role is to support and work alongside you throughout this process with a kind, caring, and tailored approach, helping you navigate life’s challenges and move towards a greater sense of well-being.

If you're looking for a counsellor, you probably want someone who truly listens, understands, and helps you navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels right for you. Here’s why I believe I could be the right fit for you, I offer a warm, gentle, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely, whether you're suffering from anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, or simply stuck at one of life's many crossroads. My approach is tailored to your unique experiences, helping you uncover patterns, build resilience, and develop coping strategies that truly work for you. My journey into therapy began in the care sector, where my natural ability to connect with others led me to become a mental health first aider. Through specialist training, I deepened my understanding of emotional support and discovered my passion for helping people. This inspired me to become a full-time counsellor, committed to providing a safe, supportive space for self-discovery and resilience. I believe therapy is a collaborative process that empowers individuals to navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and heal. Everyone has the capacity for growth, and I am dedicated to working with my clients as they develop insight, self awareness and confidence.
