About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centered therapist, I am passionate about providing a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe environment. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and self-healing, and my role is to support you in unlocking that potential.
With over 10 years of experience in therapy, empathy and coaching, I have gained a deep understanding of how individuals can transform and grow. My experience includes personal therapy, volunteering as a therapist for the Centre for Better Health in Hackney Central, London, and training at the Metanoia Institute, where I qualified in 2023 with a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling after three years of study and group practice. Additionally, I have supported the delivery of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training in the UK, which has further enriched my approach and commitment to empathy and compassionate communication.
I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and I strive to make the process as comfortable and accessible as possible. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, a depressed mood, low self-esteem, burnout, stress, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, I am here to support you.
In addition to my formal training and therapeutic experience, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development to ensure I offer the best possible support.
If you feel ready to discuss with me the difficulties you are going through, I would be honored to work with you, please reach out. I’d be happy to answer any questions or arrange an initial consultation to see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone—support is here when you’re ready.
Practice description
At its heart, I see my practice as a meeting of two human beings. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where your vulnerability is met with acceptance and understanding. My goal is to create a safe environment where we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences together, unpacking difficulties with care and curiosity and making sense of them.
I am committed to creating a warm and open space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I deeply respect your individuality and the uniqueness of your life experiences. I see my role as helping you gain clarity and insight into your thoughts and emotions, empowering you to make choices that work for you.
Together, we will work to deepen your self-awareness, develop resilience, and foster meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in attachment theory, which provides a powerful framework for understanding how our earliest relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others. My interest in this area led me to complete a course in Attachment Narrative Therapy at the Bowlby Centre in London. Additionally, I personally experienced the transformative power of long-term therapy as a client with an experienced therapist trained in relational attachment therapy at the Bowlby Centre. This experience has given me an even deeper appreciation for the healing potential of a strong therapeutic relationship.
Grounded in the core principles of person-centered therapy, my approach focuses on empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. These core conditions form the foundation of the therapeutic relationship, which I view as a collaborative partnership.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy depending on your needs. My practice is based online and in both East London and Kent, and I welcome individuals from all walks of life. I also offer a free initial session as consultation to help you determine if my approach feels right for you.
