About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Sharon - a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´ and owner of Rosemount Therapy. I offer integrative and compassionate counselling, designed to support and empower you on your unique journey. I offer a tailored approach to your individual needs, which means that our work together is designed to honour what feels right for you, allowing growth and healing that aligns with your own rhythm.
I am an integrative therapist which means I use a blend of modalities such as CBT, Psycohdyamic and Person Centered Therapy to help support you. This may include working creatively if this is something you feel would be right for you.
I genuinely care about supporting others and strive to create a safe, confidential and understanding space where you feel heard and supported. My kindness and commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives guide my work, always prioritising the well-being of those I help.
I work with people who are facing difficult times, or seeking to build self-awareness, or striving for emotional balance and healing and can work with a range of presenting issues.
I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know that you're not alone in this journey. I am here to walk alongside you, working together in a way that feels comfortable and supportive for you. We'll find a time that fits your schedule, so you don’t have to worry about fitting it in. My first session
We may email or you may book a connection call before our first session to discuss how I can support you and to book in our first session if that feels right for you.
You will recieve a contract and questionaire to complete which will set out how we will work together and where and when and this will need to be returned before our first session.
24 hours prior to the session I will email you to remind you of our session and kindly ask that you pay 24 hours before the session begins. The cost is £50 per session.
We will meet at my office and I will send you the address and details of where to park and where I will collect you. Alternatively, when working online, I will send you a zoom link and a guide on how we can work safely online together away from distractions and interuption.
