About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist that can utilise a number of modalities depending on your needs and goals of counselling. However, my predominant approach to counselling is humanistic or, more specifically person centred. Thus, I will provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to openly talk about your issues and support you in meeting your goals, offering empathy and compassion throughout your counselling journey.

I am a registered member of the Â鶹ԭ´´ and, therefore, work in accordance with the Â鶹ԭ´´ ethical framework offering short term and long term counselling, both in person and online via zoom. The length of counselling will be explored together in an initial consultation and will depend on your individual needs and goals of counselling.

Currently I am working for Therapy Centre Services, an established Counselling Service, as a qualified Counsellor on an EAP programme. I offer short term integrative therapy (between 6 -12 counselling sessions) to adults struggling with a variety of issues, such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, bullying, bereavement, low self-worth / esteem and have also gained experience of working with neurodivergence as well as mild addiction.

I am also currently a volunteer bereavement counsellor at Marie Curie West Midlands Hospice, offering adults who are suffering from grief and loss face to face counselling.

Prior to my role as a counsellor, I gained over nine years’ experience of working in the third sector, planning, and delivering a portfolio of programmes that aim to increase the welfare of young people and adults with complex needs, from different backgrounds and disadvantaged communities, which has shaped my counselling practice.
