About me and my therapy practice
Hello there, my name is Jennifer. The core of my Psychotherapy work is Humanistic, Person Centred and sometimes incorporates aspects of CBT. I offer a safe, confidential and non judgmental space for solution focused brief therapy, long and open term, to help you work through issues. All sessions are conducted either via a secure telephone or video calls and I work with clients on an individual basis to suit their needs because I understand that all clients are different. I start with gentle probing initially to build trust.
I understand that human beings are wired to connect with each other but life trials can be overwhelming sometimes leading to anxiety, depression and feeling lost and empty. Being in such painful place can be confusing and stressful. So, I will support you to grow awareness of what’s going on in your emotions, and your thinking. I can offer a warm friendly space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions safely, allowing you to gain clarity and begin to process.
My therapy sessions are conducted with empathy, congruence and acceptance of you. These conditions enables me to value whatever unique experience you bring. I’m committed to providing environment that is centred on you and being present. Being able to open up and be vulnerable with all your issues can be daunting and I champion equality, inclusion and respect for all.
Enhancing coping skills and increasing problem-solving capacity and I also incorporate psycho education into sessions and anxiety workbook to help clients work through their negative thoughts patterns.
I have Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy. BSc in Therapeutic Counselling & currently studying for my MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. Practice description

I champion equality, inclusion, and respect for all. Opening up and being vulnerable can be daunting, so I would work to enhance their coping skills and increase problem-solving capacity. I also incorporate psycho education into sessions and anxiety workbook to help clients work through their negative thoughts' patterns.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minutes complimentary session if you would like to speak with me before booking initial session and to agree on specific day/time our weekly sessions. 

Initial assessment session is £70 and this 50 minutes exploratory session is to help us think through why you want therapy and your pressing issues. This is also for us to establish if therapy is suitable for you and to check that you feel we could work together and discuss the time and day. Return your Client Agreement to confirm booking and sessions.

£70 for individual sessions via zoom or WhatsApp video call or telephone
£100 for couples
£50 discretionary sessions for Students
Each session last about 50 minutes and you will need to pay for your session upfront.
