About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Emma. As a qualified NLP Practitioner and Person-Centred Counsellor, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental environment. My approach is tailored to meet your individual needs, helping you work through what is going on in your life.
I specialize in supporting those who have survived domestic abuse and related trauma having worked in a women's refuge, offering a warm, empathetic approach to help you understand and process your experiences. My aim is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.
Practice description
I understand that seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to make this process as easy and comfortable as possible. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, approachable, and jargon-free environment. Counselling with me is about having honest, purposeful conversations about what matters most to you.
You will find a confidential, non-judgmental, safe space where you can be yourself and work through whatever is on your mind. Whether you're looking for short-term support or a longer-term approach, we can work together at your pace.
I’m here to help you explore and navigate the challenges that may be making you feel stuck. I won’t tell you what to do or make decisions for you, but I will listen and ask questions to help guide you find your own way forward.
Counselling can be a powerful and thought-provoking process. It might feel challenging at times, but it can also be liberating. No matter where you are in life, I believe therapy can help you gain clarity and move towards a place of peace and balance.

My first session
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to meet each other and talk about what has brought you to therapy.
