About me and my therapy practice

I am a North London based Irish therapist and my core training is rooted in Psychosynthesis

Central to my approach is that we are constantly evolving, and therapy is an opportunity to explore who we are beneath our struggles, challenges, and the roles we play in the world.

I am an artist, a parent, neurodiverse. I have a background in martial arts. These are some of the different aspects of my life that inform my work. I bring sensitivity, creativity, insight and resilience to my work.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, past trauma, or seeking deeper self-understanding, this is a place to explore, grow and develop new insights into you.

Exploring your inner and outer landscape can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, but it is an essential part of growth. In a supportive environment these are some of the challenges we can work through together:

Abuse, Addictive behaviours, Anxiety, Depression, Identity, Relationships, Parenting, Hormones and Life Change, Sexuality, Social Anxiety.

Practice description

I have a person centred approach which is respectful, honouring, creative, skilful, and intuitive.

Regardless of the specific challenges you face, the underlying themes in therapy often revolve around a common set of presenting issues. My approach is to explore these areas.

Generally we have a set way of relating and responding to stressors in life therefore we journey back as well as looking at the following:

Purpose & Meaning - The Existential questions.

Self-Understanding and Identity – Exploring who you are beyond societal roles, expectations, and past conditioning.

Emotional Regulation – Learning to navigate overwhelming emotions with greater awareness and self-compassion.

Relationships and Connection – Understanding patterns in relationships and developing healthier ways of relating to others.

Patterns of Thought and Behaviour – Identifying and shifting repetitive cycles that may be holding you back.

Shame, Guilt, and Self-Worth – Working through deep-seated feelings of unworthiness and cultivating self-acceptance.

Past Experiences and Their Impact on the Present – Recognising how early experiences shape current emotions and behaviours.

Exploration may include but is not limited to:

- Guided imagery

- Creating a habit of journaling

- Meditation practices

- Gestalt techniques

- Creative practice such as drawing, using images

- Mindfulness practices

Working with the Psychosynthesis models such as:

- Subpersonalities

- The Will
