About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy is a big step. If you鈥檙e here, you鈥檝e probably been carrying a lot on your own for a while. Maybe you鈥檙e tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, or second-guessing every decision. Maybe life just feels a bit鈥 much.
My role is to walk alongside you. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, make sense of what鈥檚 going on, and reconnect with your own voice.
I鈥檓 a person-centred counsellor, which means I don鈥檛 tell you what to do or give quick fixes. I鈥檒l meet you where you are鈥攚ith honesty, curiosity, and compassion. You don鈥檛 have to bring the 鈥渞ight鈥 words. You don鈥檛 need a clear plan. We鈥檒l figure it out together.
You might be navigating:
鈥 Anxiety or burnout
鈥 Low self-worth or inner criticism
鈥 Big changes or decision-making
鈥 Late-diagnosed neurodivergence
鈥 Feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected
I work especially well with people who feel like they鈥檙e 鈥渢oo much鈥 or 鈥渘ot enough.鈥 You might be used to masking, holding it all together, or being the one everyone leans on. Therapy can be your space to let some of that go.
Sessions are currently held online or over the phone, so you can show up as you are in a confidential space.
If you're unsure where to start, that鈥檚 completely okay. Therapy isn鈥檛 about performing or getting it 鈥渞ight.鈥 It's a space to just be鈥攎essy bits and all.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work before deciding anything. No pressure. Just a conversation.
Practice description
I work with adults navigating life鈥檚 challenges鈥攚hether that鈥檚 work stress, identity shifts, low self-esteem, or the quiet weight of trying to hold it all together. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or have spent years people-pleasing and masking their needs.
As a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ therapist myself, I get how exhausting it can be to feel like you have to explain or tone down who you are. You don鈥檛 have to do that here.
I offer person-centred counselling, which means no advice-giving, no pressure to open up too fast, and definitely no quick fixes. Just a space where you can feel heard and supported without judgment. Where you can untangle thoughts, reconnect with yourself, and start to breathe a little easier.
You don鈥檛 need a perfectly worded reason for coming to therapy. You don鈥檛 need to have it all figured out. You just need to be here鈥攁nd we鈥檒l take it from there.
Clients have described our work as supportive, validating, and a safe space.
Sessions are held online or over the phone, so you can attend from your own space鈥攏o commuting, no waiting rooms, and yes, you can bring your tea, your blanket, or your cat.
If you鈥檙e looking for therapy that鈥檚 affirming, gently held, and always shaped by what you need, I鈥檇 love to hear from you.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute consultation before any bookings鈥攖his is a no-pressure chat so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if therapy with me feels like the right fit.
If you decide to go ahead, sessions are 60 minutes and held online鈥攎eaning you can attend from the comfort of your own space.
In our first full session, you don鈥檛 need to bring a script or have it all figured out. We鈥檒l talk gently through what鈥檚 brought you here, what you鈥檇 like support with, and we鈥檒l go at your pace. There鈥檚 no expectation to share everything straight away鈥攊t鈥檚 completely okay to take your time.
I鈥檒l also explain how I work, what therapy with me looks like, and go over important bits like confidentiality, cancellations, and how we鈥檒l keep the space safe and supportive.
There鈥檚 no formal assessment or paperwork to complete beforehand, though I鈥檒l ask for some basic contact and emergency information once you鈥檙e booked in.
And because I believe therapy should be accessible, I offer a sliding scale for those who might find the full fee a barrier. Life isn鈥檛 always financially steady, and I want to acknowledge that. If this is something you鈥檇 like to talk about, just drop me a message鈥攚e鈥檒l work something out that feels manageable for you.
However you show up鈥攓uiet, unsure, overwhelmed, hopeful鈥擨鈥檒l meet you there.
