Practice description
You'll get a free 30-minute online consultation for us both to think about whether we may be a good 'fit', that way you get to meet me and I'll get to think about how I may be able to help you.
I work in my own consultation room in south Leicestershire, within a building in Leicester city centre, and also online, so I can offer support wherever you are.
You'll get the benefit of my vast experience of helping others, drawing upon my experience in working for mental health charities, as a qualified probation officer and then evolving into a therapist and now coach. You'll have my curious eye on the problems you are facing, whilst offering a quick witted and challenging approach. I'll work with you to determine what you'd like from the work and check in often to make sure that we are on track.
Therapy sessions last for 1 hour, unless you and I contract for a different session length dependent on your needs and we'll agree the frequency of appointments.
Please get in touch for current availibility and fees.
My first session
"What brings you here?"
For all of my services, I offer a free 30 minute consultation, this will give us both a chance to see how we may be able to work with each other. Head over to my website to book your initial consultation.
If we agree to work together, you'll find that the first session is usually busy, but the aim is to make sure you have some space to tell your story.
I'll also check out that you understand the working agreement that I would have sent across to you, and answer any queries you have.
We also spend some time identifying how you'd like to work so that I can use my skills to optimise our work.
Given that the first session can be so 'full', you might want to request for a longer session, I'm happy to discuss the option of this.

Practice description
Where:
I work online, or in person from my office in Kibworth, Leicestershire. For organisations, I can also offer 'in-house' supervision, where I come to you.
When:
Supervision that suits you: monthly, fortnightly or at intervals that suit you, dependant on your needs.
What:
The essence of supervision is for learning and reflection. It can be a helpful process of looking at challenges, successes and good practice in the work you do.
It is also the place to explore the crossovers between personal and professional lives, looking at how one can impact on the other, when this is helpful and problematic.
I aim for supervision to build on resilience so that professionals can maintain their wellness at work and their overall wellbeing.
The supervision I offer is based on a number of ‘models’ of practice, so that I can offer supervision to a wide range of professionals regardless of their working environment.
I hope to help supervisees explore the ‘uncomfortable’ or difficult moments in their work in an open, non-judgmental way, as well as celebrating the successes of their work. By encouraging a shared learning experience, I intend to help those I supervise develop an understanding of their practice that is based in good practice and ‘real’.
My first session
Our initial 30 minute online 'meet & greet' is free of charge, visit my website to book yours. The chat gives us both a chance to think about how we can work with each other and determine what your needs are.
