About me and my therapy practice
Welcome. What brings you here today?
There are many reasons we seek counselling. Change, loss, and uncertainty can leave us feeling disconnected 鈥 from ourselves and others.
You might be feeling lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain. At times, it can feel very lonely.
Sometimes, we seek therapy to rediscover who we are, to reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have been forgotten or overlooked. It鈥檚 a journey back to yourself, to finding your own strength, clarity, and sense of purpose once again.
Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to help you make sense of what you're going through. It can help you understand yourself better, build confidence, and develop new skills so you can focus on what truly matters in your life.
Counselling can support you by:
- Providing a space to talk without fear of judgement 鈥 so you can nurture and nourish the parts of yourself that need care.
- Helping you recognise triggers and early warning signs of overwhelm 鈥 so you can develop strategies to prioritise your wellbeing.
- Supporting you in setting boundaries and managing expectations 鈥 your own and others' 鈥 so you can create a life that aligns with your needs and values.
With experience as both a wellbeing group facilitator and a counsellor, as well as through my own lived experiences, I understand how life鈥檚 challenges can deeply affect relationships, health, personal goals, and sense of self.
I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, identify their needs, and tend to the parts of their lives that may have been left behind.
If this sounds like something you鈥檇 like to explore, please get in touch.
Practice description
I am a fully qualified and registered counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (麻豆原创).
In our work together, you can expect warmth, acceptance, and compassion. I will create a safe and supportive space where you can freely explore whatever is on your mind. We will focus on what truly matters to you, and my role is to guide you 鈥 not to tell you what to do, but to help you make sense of what鈥檚 going on. Together, we鈥檒l uncover your inner strength and work towards the growth and clarity you are seeking.
I鈥檝e had the privilege of working with adults from diverse backgrounds, and my core training is in person-centred counselling, which remains at the heart of my approach. I鈥檝e also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices to enrich our work. This allows us to explore a flexible approach that best suits your individual needs.
In addition to one-on-one counselling, I am a group facilitator and a WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) trainer. If you鈥檇 like to use WRAP as a model for managing your mental health and wellbeing, I鈥檇 be more than happy to share more details with you.
As an LGBTQ+ ally, and someone who affirms Gender, Sexual, and Relational Diversity (GSRD) and neurodiversity, I am committed to creating an inclusive, compassionate space for everyone.
I鈥檓 passionate about learning and continuously growing, both professionally and personally. By attending workshops, training courses, and engaging in research, I ensure that my practice is always evolving, just as I encourage my clients to do.
My first session
I offer a free, 15-minute introductory phone call where we can discuss what you're looking for from counselling and explore if we鈥檙e a good fit.
If we decide to work together, we鈥檒l schedule our first session, and after that, you can choose if you'd like to continue. Counselling may involve just a few sessions or a longer process, depending on what you need. We鈥檒l regularly check in to ensure our work is helping you move forward.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, typically held weekly or every other week.

Supervision is a vital space for growth, reflection, and professional integrity. Grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model, my approach supports both personal and professional development while keeping the client at the heart of our work. I strive to create a supportive and reflective environment where supervisees can explore challenges, celebrate successes, and enhance their skills - ensuring safe, competent, and ethical practice.
Practice description
I have a special interest in supporting carers, recognising that those who care for others often neglect their own needs. The demands of caring can lead to burnout, emotional exhaustion, and a diminished sense of self. My work is dedicated to creating a supportive space where carers - and those supporting others in any capacity - can focus on their own wellbeing, process the challenges they face, and feel empowered to maintain their mental health.
I have seen firsthand how transformative therapy can be in helping carers regain balance and self-worth. As a supervisor, I bring this understanding into my work, offering a reflective, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment where supervisees feel safe to explore their practice, embrace challenges, and develop their confidence. My approach is collaborative and person-centred, ensuring that you feel heard, valued, and supported in your professional growth.
Alongside my private counselling practice, I co-founded a not-for-profit social enterprise and understand both the joys and challenges of working for yourself. As a group facilitator, I have worked extensively in the community and voluntary sectors, providing wellbeing support in areas such as mental health, addiction recovery, and caring. I also co-facilitate reflective practice sessions for staff working in suicide prevention and response, helping teams navigate the emotional demands of their roles.
In supervision, you can expect a space that is insightful, compassionate, and grounded in real-world experience - supporting both your professional development and personal wellbeing.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute phone call as an opportunity for us to discuss your supervision needs, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether I am the right fit for you.
This initial conversation is a chance to get a sense of how we might work together and ensure that I can offer the support you鈥檙e looking for.
If you're interested, please get in touch to arrange a time 鈥 I鈥檇 love to hear from you.
