About me and my therapy practice
I believe in compassion, trust, and growth. My aim is to empower individuals and young people / teenagers through understanding and support. Creating safe spaces to explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or life changes, I’m here to listen, together we will work on understanding your challenges and building coping strategies.
I have been working as a therapist offering counselling to young people, teenagers and adults over the past 15 years. I offer face to face, online. and walking therapy sessions. I care about my work with my clients, I am good at what I do and I enjoy it. Whilst I cannot promise miracles, I can promise that I will give you everything I have to help you work through the difficulties that you are experiencing.

Practice description
Actually, it will probably look and feel like a conversation. But it’s all about you and we will talk about what is important to you.
As far as types of therapy, I mainly use a combination of Person Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT focuses on thoughts, feelings, and actions. We will work together on understanding what you think and feel and why.
In Person Centred Therapy I make sure that you feel like we’re going in the right direction. I won’t tell you what your goals need to be as you’re the expert on you. You can be yourself without being judged. Person Centred Therapy can be useful for improving self-confidence, figuring out who you are, and building relationships.
Ultimately, with the combination of these two types of therapy, we work on your goals, build on your strengths, and do what works for you.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet and decide if my services could be of help to you and indeed if you feel comfortable working with me.
It provides us with a space to discuss what brings you to counselling and how we can work together.
Future sessions are usually weekly, at the same time and place and last for 60 mins.
