About me and my therapy practice
I work in a Client centred way and have been working with a variety of clients for many years now. I am a talk therapist but have always been interested in the mind/body connection so have done training in Mindfulness and Meditation, and I have also done a Diploma in Energy Psychotherapy which included EFT (tapping), Energy Centre work and Ask and receive, this is a nice combination at times when a client may need grounding if very anxious or need other ways to work other than talking but this does not mean I will always use Energy Psychotherapy, this would be client led.
This approach brings an opportunity to work with talking therapy while integrating the body, particularly the nervous system, for a more comprehensive healing process.
Practice description
I have extensive experience in helping clients navigate life's challenging times and explore better life choices.
I am trained in couples therapy and enjoy this work deeply.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families and young people, addressing areas like; anxiety, trauma, personal growth, and gambling-related issues and other issues, through a Solution Focused, eclectic approach. With formal training in Mindfulness, Solution-Focused therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, I integrate various therapeutic modalities to support clients holistically.
I first developed expertise in gambling addiction during a five-year tenure at a large counselling organization in Perth Australia, where extensive study and hands-on experience shaped a deep understanding of addiction and recovery. During this time, having also worked with Crown Casino in Perth and with clients in prisons in Perth, Western Australia, including Boronia Women’s Pre-release Centre, gaining invaluable insight into addiction and rehabilitation.
Born and raised in Ibiza, I bring a unique perspective to therapy, combining lived experience with academic rigor. I also studied sociology and philosophy at university level, further deepening a fascination with the human experience.
After relocating to Australia, I completed a four-year counselling degree at Notre Dame University which included, philosophy, psychology and ethics. In 2013, I moved back to the UK and began working in private practice.
Currently, I have almost completed a Supervision certificate with CSTD London to further enhance professional practice.
Passionate about mental health and personal transformation, my mission is to help people self-actualize and live happier, more fulfilling lives.

About me and my therapy practice
I am currently finished studying Therapeutic Supervision with Robin and Joan Shohet through CSTD (Centre for Supervision and Team Development) in London, which draws on; psychology, psychotherapy, group dynamics, inter-subjectivity, appreciative inquiry and systems thinking. I am still to do my last assessment to be complete but have completed my study.
I began university in my 30’s which meant I came to it with a bit more life experience and also as a mother. I originally studied Gender and Cultural Studies and Sociology, which was fascinating, however, I transferred to a BA in Counselling because I realised that was really what I was passionate about. I completed a 4 year degree at Notre Dame University in Fremantle which was very intensive and included placements, much like a teaching programme in the UK does. Before my degree finished I was offered a job at one of these placements, a non-profit counselling agency in Perth, Western Australia.
At this agency I continued to study, courses such as training in gambling help, Mental Health First Aid, mindfulness and many others. I specialised in working with people and their family’s struggling particularly with gambling addictions. I provided educational support, facilitated groups and provided one-to-one general counselling. I also worked with a number of clients in prison to help them deal with their addictions.
I moved back to London in 2013 where I began my private practice. I qualified with a Diploma in Energy Psychotherapy, and completed Professional Skills Level 1 in EFT - known as Tapping - increasingly popular tool for anxiety in 2021. Including the supervision i'm currently doing, I did a 1 day course in Constellation Work in Supervision also at CSTD.
Practice description
I am known as a process worker often and so the CSTD Supervision course suited me very well as this is all about process. With neurodivergent features, I have a good understanding of the hardships that comes with learning but at the same time the love of learning is there, even though it is a challenge, processing has always been an important part of how I can learn and listen, probably also bringing empathy and good listening skills.
I like to say my superpower that came from the struggles!
I offer my expertise as a therapist with a good deal of experience but also as a practicing supervisor.
To work together to process and work with interest and to be inquisitive.
I am aware one can advertise and work as a supervisor with counselling experience but I felt I wanted specific learning so I could be my best self in the process as a supervisor.

This would be an assessment and also building a contract together.
