About me and my therapy practice
Welcome!
However you're feeling (whether it be stressed, anxious, down, lost or you desire some change in your life) know that your feelings are valid. I'm here to help and support you in any way I can.
As a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor with 15 years of experience, I have helped many people from various backgrounds navigate life's ups and downs. I have supported them on their path to improved well-being and self-discovery.
I offer you the time and space to think things through, feel your emotions and learn new empowering skills. In turn, you will be heard, understood and valued.
Practice description
Counselling is a collaborative process where I assist you in exploring and addressing personal and emotional challenges. The aim is to deepen your self-awareness, enhance your coping skills, and nurture your well-being. Together, we'll find a way forward that best suits you.
I offer a non-judgmental, safe and supportive space for you to come express and explore your thoughts and feelings. I blend various counselling techniques to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. Building trust is key, and through a positive therapeutic relationship, we can work together to address what matters most to you.
I can help you with:
- Stress and Anxiety: offering strategies to help you manage and reduce overwhelming feelings while building resilience.
- Grief and Loss: providing support to help you navigate the complexities of loss and find healthy ways to cope.
- Parenting Issues: assisting you in addressing challenges and enhancing your parenting skills.
- Fertility Issues: offering support to help you navigate the emotional challenges of fertility struggles and explore coping strategies.
- Motivation, Self-Esteem, and Confidence: helping you build a positive self-image and achieve your personal goals.
- Life Transitions: supporting you through significant changes such as a breakup, divorce, job loss, or relocation.
- Self-Discovery and Personal Growth: helping you develop interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and pursue your personal development goals.
- Relationship Issues: assisting you in developing trust, resolving conflicts, and enhancing communication with your partners, family, and friends.
- Depression: providing support to help you process feelings of sadness and find pathways to create positive change.
- Past Experiences: helping you process and heal from past events that may be impacting your present life.
All sessions are held online and are for 1 hour.
My first session
Choosing the right counsellor is key to a positive experience and outcome. It is important that you feel comfortable before starting your therapy journey. To help with this, I invite you to book a 30–45 minute introductory call.
During your call, we will:
- Take the time to explore your current challenges and relevant history.
- Discuss what you hope to achieve through counselling and how we can work towards your goals.
- Go over what to expect from the counselling process, including confidentiality and how we will work together.
The introductory call is offered at a special price of £35 via Teams, WhatsApp or telephone. Payment is required to secure your appointment.
If you would like to take the first step, I would be happy to support you.
