About me and my therapy practice
With over 13 years experience working with children and adolescents, I offer young people a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space to explore whatever challenges they are struggling with.
I work together with the young person, and their family when appropriate, towards an improved sense of wellbeing, increased self-understanding and positive change.
I am trained specifically to work with young people of all ages, and have a Masters in Child, Adolescent and Family Psychotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Children in Schools, and a Diploma in Sandplay therapy.
I am Â鶹Դ´ registered, have a Level 3 safeguarding qualification and an enhanced DBS.
My practice is informed by person-centred, attachment and transpersonal theory, and I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship has a significant impact on the therapeutic outcome. I offer creative and reflective counselling sessions and/or play therapy, incorporating solution focused approaches into my work as required.
I offer both short and long-term face-to-face work, and online therapy (if appropriate).
