I run my private practice on Tuesday and Thursday daytime but have also have a limited amount of evening availability for people facing extenuating circumstances such as geographical time differences.

About me and my therapy practice

I have over 12 years of experience working in the mental and physical health field, both in private practice and with the NHS North Bristol Chronic Fatigue and Pain Service. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma, as well as managing a variety of chronic health conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Post-Covid-19 Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Functional Neurological Disorder, Migraines, Vestibular Dysfunction, and Functional Dizziness (PPPD).

Living with chronic health issues can be incredibly tough, both physically and emotionally. It’s not just the pain, fatigue, dizziness or other neurological symptoms, but the way it affects everything—your energy, your relationships, and even your identity or sense of self.

I'm here to support you in finding coping strategies and in taking small steps to regain feelings of control. I offer targeted interventions like pacing, sleep strategies, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Vestibular Rehabilitation, pain management, and support for anxiety and depression."

A central focus of my work is helping individuals explore and embrace acceptance of their condition and what that truly means for them. Part of acceptance can be letting go of self-blame or criticism and acknowledging that you are doing the best you can under challenging circumstances.

I hold a postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and use evidence-based, safe interventions from this and other psychological models to help clients achieve their goals. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for managing mental and chronic health conditions, with additional certifications in vestibular rehabilitation. My specialties include managing functional issues, chronic fatigue, pain, and dizziness. I am accredited by the Â鶹ԭ´´, reflecting my years of experience and professional practice.

Practice description

"My practice is online which allows you to manage appointments from home, creating a more comfortable setting that prioritises your well-being, reducing the risk of post-exertional symptoms.

My private online clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering support for both chronic health issues and general mental health concerns.

I also offer support to young people with chronic health issues. Hospital visits can be arranged for patients needing therapeutic support.

My first session

Once we’ve connected and agreed to work together, I will send you a link to my online booking system, where you can schedule your first session based on our mutual availability.

Our first session will be 80 minutes, giving us time to explore the challenges you've been facing, get to know each other, and set initial therapeutic goals. If this duration feels challenging, we can discuss splitting it into two sessions. We will also review and agree on the therapeutic contract at the start of our work together.

You can attend therapy for as long as you need. While I can offer recommendations based on your goals and available guidance, you are the best judge of the value you’re getting from therapy. Whilst many clients come to me for long term support others favor a brief therapy style.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a warm, compassionate and caring therapist dedicated to supporting clients on their therapeutic journey. I work with you to achieve your goals or create a safe, gentle space to help process past experiences that may still be affecting your current situation, self-esteem, mood, or anxiety cycles. My approach combines interventions from the CBT model with other psychological techniques, aimed at alleviating suffering, promoting emotional freedom, and enhancing your quality of life.

I specialise in the CBT-focused trauma model, as well as techniques like Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to support those who have experienced traumatic events, such as accidents or injuries, or who have faced complex childhood trauma.

With extensive experience in working with OCD, ROCD, various anxiety disorders—particularly depersonalisation, derealisation, generalised anxiety disorder, and panic attack management—I also have a strong focus on the physical manifestations of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, I support clients with ADHD and functional issues related to trauma. My NHS work also has a strong focus on working with chronic health issue such as Long COVID, Chronic Fatigue and Pain and crossovers with issues such as ADHD.
