Practice description
I will provide a non-judgemental and confidential space within a private setting. I can help you to explore and find ways to cope with issues, thoughts and emotions that are having negative impact on your life. I will support you to build resilience and confidence as you take steps towards a more fulfilling and happier life.
You are welcome to a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your needs, answer any questions you may have, and help you decide whether to you wish to go ahead with counselling. This can be arranged via Teams video or telephone.
Counselling would usually take place weekly or fortnightly, and each session will last 50 minutes. The sessions will take place in a private room in Morpeth, Northumberland, via video or telephone.
In terms of the number of sessions required, there is no ‘one size fits all’ and this will be regularly reviewed. Depending on the issues brought to counselling, some clients can feel much better after few sessions, whereas some clients require more than six sessions to feel more able to cope.

About me and my therapy practice
I qualified as a counselling supervisor with a Diploma in Supervision in 2019, and have experience of supervising qualified and trainee counsellors.
I use the Seven-eyed Model of Supervision (Hawkins and Shohet), enabling an all-encompassing exploration of client sessions and the processes that occur in counselling and supervision. As counsellors I believe we are all continually learning and developing, and I understand the importance of feeling safe and respected in supervision sessions. I believe a supervisor should support a supervisee to develop their own way of working with clients and their issues.
I work in accordance with Â鶹Դ´ ethics and guidelines.
