About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts?

Do you find yourself overthinking every conversation, replaying situations in your mind long after they’ve passed? Or lying awake at night, unable to quiet your mind?

Maybe you feel like you're too much for some people but not enough for others. It’s exhausting, isn’t it? And sometimes it can feel like you're carrying a weight that no one else understands.

I’m here to offer you a safe space to unpack all of that. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, PMDD or the challenges of navigating relationships, you don’t have to carry this burden alone. It’s okay to take a step back and ask for help when things feel too heavy. Together, we’ll work at your pace, and I’ll be by your side as you start to feel more grounded, understood, and in control.

I work with clients who are neurodivergent, particularly those with autism, ADD, or ADHD. I am proud to work with many clients from the LGBTQ+ community.  If you're dealing with relationship difficulties, whether it's with a partner, family member, or friend, I can help you navigate those tough conversations and rebuild connection. If you're facing the pain of separation or divorce, I can support you through those changes. If you've experienced trauma, whether it’s recent or from the past, we’ll work through it together in a way that honors your experience and helps you find healing.

The first step in therapy can be the hardest, and I understand how intimidating it can feel to open up about your struggles. That’s why I offer a free 30-minute initial session—so we can connect and see if my approach feels right for you. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to explore how we can work together to help you find peace and clarity.

Take the first step at your own pace. I’m here to support you, however you need.

Practice description

As well as working in private practice I have worked as a school counsellor so held a CRB certificate. I also worked at the As You Are Centre in Southwick. The clients accessing these settings provided me with invaluable experience working with a broad age range, with diverse issues and concerns.

Many of the clients I have had success with have been struggling with relationship issues. Sometimes with their husband, wife or partner, sometimes it is with parents and children. I believe counselling can help you see what you need from relationships and the best way forward in your given circumstances.

Many of my clients suffer with PMDD and I am one of the few therapists with extensive experience working with woment with this condition.

I have extensive experience working with survivors of abuse. I practise in a trauma informed way using EMDR and have an interest in IFS.

I work with a number of EAP providers and I can also accept many private health insurance providers, like BUPA and AXA.

I have also worked for many years in the private sector, where I trained staff and consulted with senior management. I therefore have gained insight to the stresses faced by all levels throughout a business.

My first session

If you decided to see me for counselling sessions my first priority is to create a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment, so you are able to explore the issues or decisions important to you.
