Job Description

Under general supervision, you will be responsible for investigating auto coverage issues and Errors & Omissions claims. This includes, researching, analyzing, and interpreting policy language, conduct interviews and determine or deny coverage based on the outcomes of the investigation. You will set customer expectations, communicates timelines for investigation, and explains applicable laws and coverages, all while delivering compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention. You must be capable of working independently, prioritizing responsibilities, managing the own workload and also consistently meets band level behaviors, production, quality, and/or customer service goals.

What will you do?

Ěý

• Researches and responds to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues

• Meets or communicates directly with Agents

• Summarizes documents and enters claim system notes

• Investigates policy coverage through conducting customer, contractor, witness, or service provider interviews, reviewing policy and other contractual wording, analyzing loss facts and damages, and researching and understanding applicable state statutes

• Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process

• Leads training sessions for the team

• Uses advanced knowledge and skill, including knowledge of policy and coverage, and property damage evaluation information systems to perform work duties and assist less senior employees

• Researches and responds to Department of Insurance and other regulatory questions

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Coverage handling experience a plus

• Express knowledge preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication with a passion for helping others

• Ability to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex claims

• Strong organizational and computer skills

• Persistence and ability to work through and solve problems

• Ability to use the internet, Microsoft office, and navigate between multiple applications

• Bilingual and military candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

• Flexible schedule and ability to work some holidays

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $40,000.00 - 66,227.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
