XS Brokers Promotes Buccinna to Regional Leader of New York
XS Brokers, headquartered in Quincy, Massachusetts, promoted Peter Buccinna to vice president and regional leader of New York.
Buccinna has over 26 years of industry experience and joined XS Brokers in 2017. He will oversee the development of state strategies to drive growth through organic sales and continued collaboration with key retail partners. Before joining XS, Buccinna served as a business development manager at Chubb. Previous roles include marketing representative at LoVullo Associates, Inc., and business development manager at AIG.
Falvey Named CEO of Falvey Insurance Group, Among Other Leadership Changes
Following Mike Falvey’s appointment to executive chairman, Jack Falvey assumed the role of CEO of Falvey Insurance Group, based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, on Jan. 1. Jack Falvey joined the company in 2013 as a business analyst and later became vice president of group operations. He most recently served as chief operating officer.
Eric Newman was named chief risk officer. He has been with Falvey for 17 years and was most recently executive vice president of claims, loss prevention and recoveries.
Brody Karn was named chief operating officer and will oversee business intelligence and innovation, IT, legal & compliance and capacity. Karn has been with Falvey for three years, beginning as a legal intern and, most recently, as associate counsel.
Brad Eldridge was named chief growth officer, focusing on leading the production of Falvey Insurance Group. He oversees business development, marketing, and the wholesale brokerage.
Emmy Falvey was hired as senior vice president and head of capacity, effective January 21. She will be based in London and will manage all market relationships. She was most recently with Westfield Specialty.
