Chubb said it has promoted Melissa Scheffler to chief operating officer of Personal Risk Services (PRS). Currently, Scheffler serves as regional executive officer for the Mid-Atlantic region.
In a corresponding move, Bryce Graham, who currently serves as the Philadelphia and Harrisburg branch manager, will succeed Scheffler.
Scheffler will be responsible for the execution of the business’s growth and portfolio management plans, with direct oversight of underwriting, sales and distribution, product management and risk consulting teams in North America.
Graham will lead local delivery of Chubb’s offerings through retail distribution partners throughout the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Washington D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.
Scheffler and Graham will assume their new roles on April 29.

Morley joins AXIS with more than 35 years of professional liability underwriting and leadership experience. Most recently, she served as senior vice president, miscellaneous professional liability and architects & engineers liability at Argo Pro. She previously served as a financial advisor at Edward Jones, vice president, professional liability program underwriting at USI, senior vice president at Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group and second vice president at Travelers Bond & Financial Products.
